Ruth Regina (Fairchild) Povilaika

Ruth Regina Povilaika of Lewisburg, OH, passed away Sunday, March 31, 2024, at Hospice of Dayton, Dayton, OH, at the age of 85 years, 4 months, & 4 days.  She was born Sunday, November 27, 1938 at West Liberty, KY, daughter of Bruce & Pearl DeHart Fairchild.

She was a retired School Bus Driver in Montgomery Co., OH.  Ruth will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, and sister, and will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, Bruce & Pearl Fairchild; and two sisters and two brothers, Carl Fairchild, Roxie Crowell, James Fairchild, and Juanita Bryant.

She is survived by three children, Teresa Withall of Geneva, IL, Tania Whiteley (Alan) of Springboro, OH, and Sean Povilaika of Lewisburg, OH; four grandchildren, Rachael Flynn, Ashley Whiteley, Hannah Whiteley, and Zoe Povilaika; and two sisters, Beulah Huston of New Carlisle, OH and Virginia Loden (Ed) of Eaton, OH.

Funeral service 2 p.m. Thursday, April 4, 2024 at the Potter Funeral Home, with Lance Bryant officiating.  Burial to follow in the Fairchild Family Cemetery, Hwy 1161, West Liberty, KY.

Pallbearers:  Sean Povilaika, Terry Bryant, Lance Bryant, Al Whiteley, Josh Swartz, Jack Flynn,and Christian Horne.
