Virginia Carol Keeton of Crockett, KY, passed away Monday, August 12, 2019 at Baptist Health Hospital, Lexington, KY, at the age of 69 years, 11 months, and 28 days. She was born Monday, August 15, 1949, at Sandy Hook, KY, daughter of the late Eulas V. and Lissie Gibson Conley.

Virginia was united in marriage to Elzie Keeton. This union was blessed with five children, Donna Lynn, Helene, Elzie Jr., Charlotte, and Christopher. She was a homemaker and attended the Crockett Community Baptist Church. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and sister and will sadly missed by all her family and friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Donna Lynn Keeton, two sisters and one brother, Mary Ratliff, Janet Looney, and Kenny Conley.

She is survived by husband, Elzie Keeton, Crockett, KY; four children, Helene Wright, West Liberty, KY., Elzie Keeton Jr. & wife Leah of West Liberty, KY, Charlotte Keeton Riojas & husband Robert of Milton,FL, Christopher Keeton & wife Tami of South Port, OH.; four grandchildren, Mercedes Nicole Riojas, Ashlyn Rose Riojas, Maddison Grace Holbrook Keeton, Emily Faith Keeton; four sisters, Wilma White, Folsom, California, Jeri Adkins, Fairborn, OH, Gwin Ison & husband Jack, New Carlisle, OH, and Kathy Ray of South Carolina.

Funeral service 1:00 pm Saturday August 17, 2019 at the Potter Funeral Home Chapel with Elder Jack Holbrook and Elder Hershell Wright officiating with burial to follow in the Keeton Family Cemetery, Crockett, KY. Visitation after 6:00 p.m. Friday at the Funeral Home.

Elzie, Helene, Jr, Charlotte and Chris, please know that our thoughts and prayers are with you at this time. Carol was a sweetheart, I remember her laugh so well. She loved her family with all her heart and soul. I hope that it will bring you peace to know that she is in the arms of our Savior Jesus.
