Nina Vanessa Minix Litton of White Oak, KY, passed away Sunday, April 28, 2019 at the West Liberty Nursing & Rehab Center, at the age of 89 years, 11 months, and 18 days. She was born Friday, May 10, 1929, at White Oak, KY, daughter of the late Henry & Thelma May Minix.

She was united in marriage to William E. Litton. This union was blessed with two daughters, Denise & Randa. She was a former beautician and she owned her own fabric shop. She was a gifted and very talented artist, sewer, and quilter. Vanessa was a Christian and a member of the White Oak Christian Church. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and niece. She will be sadly missed by all her family and friends.

Vanessa was preceded in death by her parents, Henry & Thelma Minix and her husband, William E. Litton.

She is survived by her two daughters & sons-in-law, Denise & Sid Moore and Randa & Marvin Patrick all of West Liberty, KY; four grandchildren, Jamie & Lydia Phipps, Gina Vance, Bentley Patrick, and Brooke & Casey Jenkins; three great grandchildren, Jenna Clay Vance, Bryce Thomas Vance, and Thea Quinn Jenkins; one sister, Nadine Minix of White Oak, KY; one aunt, Margaret Minnix also of White Oak, KY; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Funeral service 1 p.m., Wednesday, May 1, 2019 at the White Oak Christian Church, with Bro. Mark Campbell and Bro. Greg Helton officiating. Burial to follow in the G.B. Allen Cemetery, Hwy 460 E., White Oak, KY. Visitation 6 p.m., Tuesday, April 30, 2019 at the Potter Funeral Home.

Pallbearers: Randy Williams, Bentley Patrick, Jamie Phipps, Casey Jenkins, Mike Griffith, Wayne Lewis, Larry Minnix, and John Oldfield.

Honorary Pallbearers: Marvin Patrick, Tommy Phipps, Dr. James Frederick, George Tapp, and Terry Lykins.

In Lieu of Flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to the G.B. Allen Cemetery, C/O Janis Williams, 8288 Hwy 460 E., West Liberty, KY.
