Linda Gail (Fannin) Williams

Linda Gail Fannin Williams of West Liberty, KY, passed away Friday, April 19, 2024, at U.K. Medical Center, Lexington, KY, at the age of 74 years, 2 months, & 10 days.  She was born Thursday, February 9, 1950 at Elkfork, KY, daughter of Roy Bert & Zelda Burks Fannin.

She was united in marriage to Donnie Bee Williams.  This union was blessed with three children, Daniel,  Melinda, and Christopher.  Linda Gail was a retired social worker.  She was a Christian and a member of the Index Community Church.  She will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, and sister, and will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, Roy Bert & Zelda Burks Fannin; her husband, Donnie Bee Williams; one son, Christopher Williams; and five brothers, Roy Roger Fannin, William Dewey Fannin, Kenneth Ray Fannin, Ralph Lowell Fannin, and Roscoe Talmadge Fannin.

She is survived by her two children, Daniel R. Williams (Jessica) and Melinda Williams all of West Liberty, KY; one step daughter, Shelly Paulus (Leland) of Haskell, OK; three grandchildren, Autumn Haley Williams, Logan Tanner Williams, and Tyra Scott Fannin; one brother, Tommy Fannin (Lisa) of West Liberty, KY; one sister, Kathy Buckner of Mize, KY; and one uncle, Dallas Burks of Fairborn, OH.

Funeral service 11 a.m. Monday, April 22, 2024 at the Potter Funeral Home, with Rev. Mike Frisby officiating.  Burial to follow in the Williams Cemetery, Lacy Creek, KY.  Visitation from 6 p.m., Sunday, April 21, 2024 at the funeral home.
