Obituary for Rosemary Hibbens

Rosemary Hibbens of West Liberty, KY, passed away Sunday, October 21, 2018 at St. Claire Regional Medical Center, Morehead, KY, at the age of 77 years, 2 months, and 28 days. She was born Wednesday, July 23, 1941, at Salyersville, KY, daughter of the late Farmer & Marie Smith Caudill.

Rosemary was united in marriage to John Wesley Hibbens. This union was blessed with four children, John Richard, Susie, Ronald Eugene, and Judy. She was a retired C.N.A. and also worked as a cook at different restaurants. She was a Christian and a devoted member of the Broadway First Church of God for over 40 years. She was a very loving mother and will be deeply missed by all her family, friends and all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Farmer & Marie Smith Caudill; her husband, John Wesley Hibbens; two sons, John Richard Hibbens and Ronald Eugene Hibbens; one brother and one sister.

She is survived by two daughters, Judy Hibbens & Todd Earley of Ezel, KY and Susie Hibbens Miller of Lancaster, KY; four grandchildren, Richard Lee Hibbens, Misti Hibbens Fannin & Johnnie, Joshua Alan Hibbens & Brandi Jones, and Clark Anthony Miller; three great grandchildren, Alex Hibbens, Logan Hibbens, and Dalton Fannin; three sisters & one brother.

Funeral service 1:00 p.m., Thursday, October 25, 2018 at Potter Funeral Home, with Bro. Karl Elam officiating. Burial to follow in the Paint Valley Memorial Gardens, Crockett, KY. Visitation after 6:00 p.m., Wednesday, October 24, 2018 at the Funeral Home.
