Obituary for Paul Issac Henry

Paul Issac Henry of West Liberty, KY, passed away Tuesday, May 15, 2018, at the VA Hospital, Lexington, KY, at the age of 85 years and 4 months. He was born Sunday, January 15, 1933, at Woodsbend, KY, son of the late Orville James & Opal Bailey Henry.

Paul was united in marriage to Venus Jay Friend, this union was blessed with three children, Paula, William Thomas, and Paul Anthony. Paul was a retired Pipe Fitter / Welder and a minister, and was a loving father, grandfather, great grandfather, and brother. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Venus Henry; one son, Paul Anthony Henry; one brother, Tommy Henry; and two sisters, Sylvia Anspach & Etta Lou Henry.

He is survived by two children, Paula Henry of West Liberty, KY and William Thomas Henry of Woodsbend, KY; three grandchildren, Christopher Michael Murphy & wife, Cindy, Christopher Dewayne Longmire & wife, Ashley, and Correy Wayne Henry; four great grandchildren; two sisters & one brother, Loretta & James Ray McGuire of Franklin, OH, Larry Dale & Lavodies Henry, and Karen Havens, all of West Liberty, KY; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Funeral service 1 p.m., Sunday, May 20, 2018 at the Potter Funeral Home, with Pastor Ed Hoffman, Deacon Ken Chapell, and Deacon Gene Vanover officiating. Burial to follow in the Flatwoods Cemetery, Woodsbend, KY. Visitation 6 p.m., Saturday, May 19, 2018.
