Obituary for Alfred Lawrence Price

Alfred Lawrence Price of White Oak, KY, passed away Wednesday, April 18, 2018, at his residence, at the age of 87 years, 7 months, and 30 days. He was born Tuesday, August 19, 1930, at Oakboro, NC, son of the late Leslie & Malinda Hartsell Price.

He was united in marriage to Alma Butler. This union was blessed with two sons, Roger & Dale. Alfred was a retired firefighter in Charlotte, NC, was a veteran of the United States Airforce, serving his country for around 3 - 4 years. He was a Christian and a member of the White Oak Christian Church. He was a loving father and grandfather and will be sadly missed by all who knew him.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Alma Butler Price and one son, Roger Price.

He is survived by one son, Dale & Tammy Price of White Oak, KY; five grandchildren, Christopher & Courtney Price of Gastonia, NC, Amber & Robbie Dials of Hillsboro, KY, Chastity & Patrick St. Louis of St. Joseph, MO, Stephanie & Mike Lane of Charlotte, NC, and Jessica & Andre Trujillo of CA; five great grandchildren, Nicholas Price, Aiden St. Louis, Avery Lane, Lily Trujillo, & Koston Trujillo; and special friends, Bonnie Cline, Carol Jean & Jim Price, and Betty Foster.

Funeral service 1 p.m., Saturday, April 21, 2018 at the White Oak Christian Church, with Bro. Greg Helton officiating. Burial to follow in the Cline Cemetery, White Oak, KY. Visitation 11 a.m. - 1 p.m., Saturday, April 21, 2018 at the church.

Pallbearers: Gary Cole, Christopher Price, Robbie Dials, Dustin Gibson, Michael Griffitts, Steve Measel, Jason Hoskins, and Joe Day.
