Obituary for Jessica Nicole Havens

Jessica Nicole Havens (Kimbrough) of Stanton, KY, passed away Thursday, March 29, 2018, at St. Joseph Mt. Sterling at the age of 23 years, 9 months, and 12 days. She was born Friday, June 17, 1994, at Morehead, KY, daughter of Jerry Lynn Havens & Lisa Nipper Havens.

Jessica was obtaining her Master’s Degree from Morehead State University where she would have graduated this coming May. She was engaged to be married on June 10, 2018 to her fiancé, Andrew Kimbrough. Jessica was a Christian and a member of Index Community Church. Jessica was a loving and caring person to everyone she met and will be sadly missed by all who knew her.

Jessica was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Charles Greene Havens and her maternal grandfather, Dale Nipper.

She is survived by her fiancé, Andrew Kimbrough; her father, Jerry Havens of West Liberty, KY; her mother, Lisa Havens & Buddy Darr of Stanton, KY; one sister, Kristy Havens of Morgan Co., KY; niece, Brooklyn Cockerham; nephew, Hunter Cockerham; her maternal grandmother, Freda Taulbee & Randy of Hazel Green, KY; her paternal grandmother, Linda Havens of West Liberty, KY; aunts & uncles, Alice & Ryan McWain of West Liberty, Savannah Case of Hazel Green, Jimmy & Gemalea Havens of West Liberty, Jeremy & Melicia Nipper of Ezel, and Joey & Mona Nipper of Morehead.

Funeral service 1 p.m., Monday, April 2, 2018 at the Potter Funeral Home, with Sister Arpie Hampton & Rev. Mike Frisby officiating. Burial to follow in the Oldfield Cemetery, Hwy 203, Hazel Green, KY. Visitation 6 p.m., Sunday, April 1, 2018 at the Potter Funeral Home.
