Condolence: I am saddened to hear about Janie. What can be said about her? Everything positive. She has reached the destination that she prepared for in life. I will miss reading her articles in the paper. I could connect to some of the family and happenings, as my mother and her mother were raised close together and were in the same class, and our papaw's were good buddies. May God bless and comfort each of you.

Condolence: Having known Janie for several years, I am awed by the talent one person possessed. When I was troubled, Janie would sing Haven of Rest for me and loved her for it. She joined the Quilt Guild several years ago and proved to be an immense help for the quilt show and getting our news in the Courier. Although we will miss her smile I am glad God didn't allow her to suffer any longer. I am thinking she and her mother are now enjoying that Haven of Rest in Paradise. We will see them again when we, too, cross over. Love you, Ms. Janie and thanks so much for being our friend.

Condolence: We want to send our condolences to the family of this lovely lady. May God give you comfort. I always looked forward to talking with Janie about "olden times", family acquaintances, etc, when going to the Courier office. She reminded me so much of her beautiful mother, Sylvia. RIP Janie, my friend, may we meet again on Heaven's shore.
