Obituary for Margie Faye Cottle

Margie Faye Cottle of Lawrenceburg, KY, formerly of Winchester, KY, passed away Wednesday, November 15, 2017, at the Frankfort Regional Medical Center, Frankfort, KY, at the age of 74 years, 9 months, and 26 days. She was born Wednesday, January 20, 1943 in Cottle, KY, daughter of the late Wilkison Steele & Minnie Alice Cox Cottle.

Faye was a retired Human Resources Clerk for US Shoe & Jennmar Trucking Company. She was a Christian, a member of the Lacy Creek Church of Christ, and was a loving sister-in-law and aunt.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Darrell Jay Cottle & Garland Cottle.

Faye is survived by her two nieces, Beverly & Kevin McElwain of Lawrenceburg, KY and Penny & David Carson of Cold Spring, KY; her sister-in-law, Margaret Cottle of West Liberty, KY; and five great nephews, Ben McElwain, Matt McElwain, William Carson, Douglas Carson, and Gregory Carson.

Funeral service 11 a.m., Saturday, November 18, 2017 at the Potter Funeral Home with Elder Jimmy Adkins officiating. Burial in the Cottle Cemetery, West Liberty, KY. Visitation from 5 - 7 p.m., Friday, November 17, 2017 at funeral home.
