Obituary for Rev. Millard Lewis
Rev. Millard Lewis of West Liberty, KY, passed away Wednesday, July 19, 2017, at his residence, at the age of 76 years, 2 months, and 4 days. He was born Thursday, May 15, 1941 at Pleasant Run, KY, son of the late Math & Etta Mae Lewis.
He was united in marriage to Helen Sexton. This union was blessed with two sons, Rondall Byrul & Melvin Boyd. He was a retired farmer, was a Christian, a preacher, and was a member of the 519 Church of God. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather, and leaves behind many family & friends to mourn his passing.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by eleven brothers & sisters.
He is survived by his wife, Rev. Helen Sexton Lewis; two sons, Rondall Byrul & Angie Lewis and Melvin Boyd Lewis all of West Liberty, KY; two grandchildren, Amy & Matthew Wright and Evan & Ashley Lewis all of West Liberty, KY; five great grandchildren, Landon Lewis, Austin Wright, Garrison Lewis, Kainon Lewis, and Aaliyah Wright; one sister, Alice Watkins of West Liberty, KY; and adopted and foster grandchildren & great grandchildren.
Funeral service 1:00 p.m., Saturday, July 22, 2017 at the Lick Fork Church with Rev. Jonathan Sargent, Rev. Eugene Haney, Rev. Garry Ferguson, and Rev. Johnny Dagnan officiating Burial to follow in the Lewis & Howard Cemetery, Pleasant Run Road, West Liberty, KY. Visitation 6:00 p.m., Friday, July 21, 2017 at the Potter Funeral Home.
