Obituary for Saundra Sue Osborne

Saundra Sue Osborne of Ezel, KY, passed away Sunday, June 25, 2017, at the St. Claire Regional Medical Center, at the age of 79 years, 10 months, and 24 days. She was born Sunday, August 1, 1937 at Little Mudd, KY, in Floyd County, daughter of the late Brumbler & Vannie Hamilton Spurlock.

She was united in marriage to Cline Conn, this union was blessed with one child, Michael. Several years after Cline died she met and married Roy Osborne Jr. She retired from Shoe Factory where she worked on the assembly line. She was a Christian and a member of the West Liberty Church of Christ. She was a loving mother and grandmother, and leaves behind many family & friends to mourn her passing.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Cline Conn, her second husband, Roy Osborne, her son, Michael Conn and three brothers, Donald, Allard and Douglas Spurlock.

Sue is survived by three grandchildren, Sondra & David Ratliff of Frenchburg, KY, Melody & Jeff Hollon of Hazel Green, KY, and Jason & Susan Conn of Shelbiana, KY; ten great grandchildren; two great-great granddaughters; one brother, Winsel Spurlock; one sister, Flo Spurlock; and her church family that loved her very much.

Funeral service 1:00 p.m., Thursday, June 29, 2017 at Potter Funeral Home with Bro. Paul Balch & Bro. Albon Meade officiating. Burial to follow in the Ezel Cemetery, Ezel, KY. Visitation 6:00 p.m., Wednesday, June 28, 2017 at the funeral home.

Pallbearers: David Ratliff, Jeff Hollon, Will Carpenter, Tyler Minix, Brandon Hollon, Dylan Hollon, Kyle Conn, and Jacob Martin.

Honorary Pallbearers: Brothers in Christ, Ken Hollon, Marty Bradley, Kenny Wayne Hollon, Tommy Peak, and Albon Meade.
