Obituary for Walker Williams, Jr.
Walker Williams, Jr. of Isonville, KY, passed away Sunday, June 11, 2017, at Morgan County ARH, West Liberty, KY, at the age of 84 years, 3 months, and 19 days. He was born Thursday, February 23, 1933 at Mima, KY, son of the late Walker Sr. & Della Cox Williams.
Walker was united in marriage to Audrey Kathleen Fannin, this union was blessed with two daughters, Patricia and Judy. He was a Pipefitter Welder. He was a devout Christian and was a member and deacon at the Newcomb Valley Enterprise Baptist Church. He was also a 60 year Mason and a member of the Elkfork Masonic Lodge #755.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Walker Sr. & Della Cox Williams; his wife, Audrey Kathleen Fannin Williams; three brothers, Kenneth Martin Williams, E.T. Williams, and Charles Krit Williams; and five sisters, Nora Ison, Versie Keeton, Minnie Rowland, Linnie Holbrook, and Dixie Cantrell.
He is survived by his two daughters & sons-in-law, Patricia Williams-Woosley & Paul David of Isonville, KY and Judy Williams Daniel & Michael of Oil Springs, KY; one granddaughter, Sarah Gauze & David of Louisa, KY; two great grandchildren, Levi Walker Gauze & Kennedy Grace Gauze; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Bob & Glenna Pelfrey of Hebron, IN, Paul & Nadine Fannin of Hebron, IN, Ellie Williams of West Liberty, KY, Veggie & Phillip Fannin of Hebron, IN, and Beverly & Curt Fannin also of Hebron, IN; and a host of beloved nieces and nephews.
Funeral service 1:00 p.m., Thursday, June 15, 2017 at Potter Funeral Home with Bro. Mike Adkins & Bro. Bob Williams officiating. Burial to follow in the Hutchinson Cemetery, Hwy 706, Isonville, KY. Visitation 6:00 p.m., Wednesday, June 14, 2017 with Masonic Services at 7 p.m., by Elkfork Masonic Lodge #755.
