Obituary for Clinton "Bobby Pin" Gullett

Clinton “Bobby Pin” Gullett of West Liberty, KY, passed away Saturday, June 10, 2017, at the St. Claire Regional Medical Center, Morehead, KY, at the age of 62 years and 26 days. He was born Sunday, May 15, 1955 at Big Pricey in Salyersville, KY, son of the late Paul B. & Golda Howard Gullett.

Clinton was united in marriage to his first wife, Freida June McGuire, this union was blessed with two daughters, Jacqueline Novella & Heather Marie. After Freida’s passing, he later married Emily Elam. He was a former heavy equipment operator on a mining drill. He loved his family and will be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather, and brother.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul B. & Golda Gullett; his first wife, Freida June Gullett; and one nephew, Evan Wade Gullett.

He is survived by his wife, Emily Elam; two daughters & sons-in-law, Jacqueline Novella & Jamie Fannin of Elkfork, KY and Heather Marie & Mark Johnson of West Liberty, KY; one step daughter & son-in-law, Erica Rose & David Glass of Palmer, AK; six grandchildren, Natasha Jade Fannin, Chase Edward Fannin, Bradley Channing Johnson, Maxton Paul Johnson, Julia Rose Glass, and Kelly Violet Glass; three brothers, Steve “Tack” & Phyllis Gullett of West Liberty, KY, David “Red” Gullett of Vero Beach, FL, Wade “Bub” & Rhonda Gullett of Salyersville, KY; one sister, Bernice & Roger Blanton of West Liberty, KY; and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Funeral service 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, June 14, 2017 at Potter Funeral Home with Bro. Paul Balch, Bro. Eric Conley, Steven Gullett, Elder Jimmy Adkins & Bro. George Robbins officiating. Burial to follow in the Lacy Creek Church of Christ Cemetery, Lacy Creek, KY. Visitation 6:00 p.m., Tuesday, June 13, 2017.
